The Crooked Ones

In development since February, 2021, The Crooked Ones started as a simple question: "How might people meet their demise in the zombie apocalypse?" Each demise was assigned a character, and as the characters grew, so did their stories. They were no longer limited to just an ending; they grew to have a beginning and a middle, ups and downs, lives and deaths. The story took on a life of its own, and soon the comic was in full swing. From worldbuilding to story writing, characters to environments, layouts to fully illustrated episodes, not a thing was overlooked. And, as of May, 2023, the story is finally being published and the dream has become a reality.

Summary: When a single bite can make even the healthiest person turn 'Crooked,' and as chaos and greed make the living turn on one another, Avery, a headstrong optimist and experienced young soldier, faces the daunting task of maintaining hope and building a better future for those around her. She finds herself leading a group of survivors through the zombie apocalypse, fighting to keep her friends together in a world that's falling apart.
